Helen attends all our markets, supplying highest quality soup using locally sourced ingredients. Her soups are a firm favourite during the cold winter months but she also includes a range of cold soups for when the weather turns warmer.
Helen varies her range throughout the year dependent upon seasonal produce, popular varieties include:
Rich Tomato and Basil, Broccoli, Potato and Wensleydale, Curried Parsnip and Potato and Zuppa de Verdure.
Worsdales Farmhouse Baking
Worsdales are a family of bakers based in Bedale. They sell a wonderful range of home-cooked products including a wide range of cakes, scones, flapjacks and biscuits. Chat to Raymond (of any his family who may be helping him on the stall) and they will be able to help with your choices.
With such a wide range to choose from you will be spoilt for choice but you can always come along to the next market and try something different!

Church Farm Eggs of Wakefield
We have been producing and selling free range hen, duck and goose eggs for over 50 years. We attend Harrogate 2nd Thursday of month, Otley last Sunday of month and York 1st Friday of month.

Such a lovely friendly service. All the hens can be seen running free as well as geese, ducks and horses. The eggs are the best I have ever tasted and such good value for money
Yorkshire Dales Cheeses
David & Jane Harris formed The Yorkshire Dales Cheese Company in April 2006 and continue to use their expertise to deliver quality cheeses to their customers.
Jane developed her love of cheese and a passion for local produce back in the 70s, when her parents ran a small business in the market town of Northallerton, North Yorkshire. The Zetland Creamery, sold frozen food and local dairy produce including Real Wensleydale Cheese and butter from Hawes.
Many years later Jane joined Wensleydale Creamery and it was here that her love of cheese helped her to shape her future and embark on her own business. David has spent much of his working life in the construction industry but his memories of Wensleydale Cheese go back about as far as he can remember, as his Mum always kept a hearty supply at home. David’s cheesy career began when he started to help out selling Wensleydale cheese at shows and farmers markets for the Wensleydale Creamery.
David and Jane attend Harrogate 2nd Thursday of month and Otley last Sunday of month.

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil are producers of award winning oils, dressings and mayonnaise made from the finest cold pressed rapeseed oil – using seed grown and pressed on the chalky soil of the Yorkshire Wolds. All the Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil products are made on site, and BTC are constantly investing in new production and processing machinery to keep up with the demands of the Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil brand, this also puts BTC in a fantastic position to handle other brands as well as Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil. All our products are manufactured under the SALSA accreditation.

My name is Mario and I was born in Vienna in 1982 to an Italian father and an Austrian mother. We moved back to Sardinia when I was 6 months old. I moved to beautiful Yorkshire in England in 2001. I am passionate about cooking and have turned my passion into a successful business. I use all fresh, local produce when I can.
I have a wide range of pecorino cheeses and cured meats. My specialty is pork meatballs, stuffed peppers, stuffed focaccia, lasagne parmigiana, cannelloni, tasty Italian pizza, fresh Italian donuts and classic tiramisu, homemade ciabatta bread and a lot more. Please come and visit me and try my fresh and homemade produce.

Gluten Freekz – Trisha and Mark Powell
As a recently retired professional Catering Manager at a local independent school, managing a 5 star rated kitchen, I had been asked by many parents to produce gluten free products for family members etc, so I thought why not take it one step further and start to sell my traditional baked goods online and at farmers’ markets for those wanting products that are gluten and wheat free without all the extra additives!
We freshly bake on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. All our ingredients are in their natural state we just make, bake and craft our goodies in our gluten free kitchen!
Sweet and Savoury products include Corned Beef pasties, Scotch Eggs, Chocolate Crunchy slice, Lemon drizzle cake, Raspberry Flapjack, Cheese and Onion pasties.

Langthorne’s Buffalo Produce
We are a family run farm spread over 400 acres with lots of unusual animals.
The whole family Paul, Kate, Jennifer, Diane and Andrew help care for the animals, staff our farmers’ market stall and run the family farm tours.
We brought our first two buffalo Fleur and Georgina approximately 10 years ago to supply buffalo milk for Andrew who suffered severe dairy allergies. He also has Cystic Fibrosis and the home sourced meat, milk and cheese are extremely good nutrition for him.
Our products include Buffalo meat. Venison, Aberdeen Angus Beef, Wapiti, Wild Boar, Iron Age Pig, Wild Boar, Lamb and Mutton.
We attend Harrogate (2nd Thursday) and Otley (last Sunday)
Loose Birds from Harome
Burly Cornish prop forward Dr Paul Talling wears two hats – as well as hiring himself out checking standards of welfare and crop management, this doctor of philosophy also spends his evenings and weekend rearing free range chickens, ducks and geese on his land in Harome. They live an idyllic life in the open with freedom to run around making for better meat. His produce is much sought after both locally and nationally, probably because Paul likes to give his birds a pleasant and interesting life, treating them, he says, as he would himself. He’s even been known to sleep with his birds on occasion, especially when foxes are on the prowl…

Voakes Pies from Whixley
Whixley Grange Farm is owned by the Voakes family who have farmed in North Yorkshire for over 40 years and hold an exemplary record for animal husbandry which still continues today.
Voakes pork pies are produced from our own stock of pigs which are bred exclusively at Whixley Grange. Only the best cuts of pork and carefully selected ingredients are used to produce our award winning pies for today’s discerning market.
The production unit for Voakes Pies is purpose built, providing a superb quality controlled environment in which we can maintain our high standards, and we look forward to the continued expansion of production at Whixley Grange.
